Sunday Skate Session!!

さぁ姫路からとんぼ返りをメイクした翌日は、ひさびさの日曜塾に参加！！天気も良くて
スケート日和。スポットは先日に引き続き、例の倉庫からスタート！メンツも、タマ、ジャバ、珍ネン、ダブルマサ、ケイタにタネちゃんとかなり濃厚。結局、3スポ回って何だかんだで
フッテージも残せましたね～。今回はインスタントのマサとジャバ、タマちゃんが良かった！！
よっしゃ～またガッツリ行きましょう☆

I joined Sunday Skate Session the next day that I made a quick turn to Tokyo
from Himeji, we first started skating at the same warehouse spot and crusing around
2 more spots with Tama, Java, Chin-nen, double Masa, Keita and Tane under the grace of the sun. We finally got a lot of nice footage. Specially Masa from instant, Java and Tama was also good!! Yes, let's do more skate☆

さてさて昨日の11/7（土）、おめでたい席に出席するため朝から姫路へと行ってきました！
姫路を訪れたのは8年振り。個人的にも縁の地で、世界遺産の姫路城がそびえる歴史ある古の街。
そしてこの日、この街で子供の頃から可愛がっていた従姉妹の結婚式があった訳です。
いや～泣かされました。何回も。良いですね～結婚式は。めちゃくちゃ感動しました☆

On 11/7（Sat）, I went to Himeji in the morning to attend this happy occasion there!!
It has been 8 years since my last time. Himeji is an old historical city which has Himeji castle, a world heritage. There was a wedding ceremony of my lovely cousin in this city on this day. Well I cried over and over. Well I was also really moved by them☆

今回結婚した二人。新郎の隼人クンと新婦の真琴。みんなに見守られ幸せいっぱいです☆

あのマコがこんな風に結婚するなんてね～。でも本当に嬉しかった！！！
I couldn't even imagine Makoto got married like this. I was so happy!!

新婦の兄、アントニー夫妻と。庄見ちゃん（旧姓）も元気してましたよ！！
With her big brother Arata and his wife Shomi-chan. They are fine as well!!

大好きな姪っ子たちにも久々に会えた！子供はどんどん大きくなってきますね～
I could meet my lovely nephews again!! By the way children grow very fast.

披露宴では、サプライズで三線を一曲プレゼント！緊張したけど喜んでくれて良かった。
I played a surprise Sanshin song for them, I had a bit tense but was happy they liked it.

アントニーJr.勘太郎も大きくなっていた！未来のスケートボーダーかな？？
Kantaro, a son of Arata grows up!! He might be a skateboarder in the future??

ご両家のみなさん、ご結婚本当におめでとうございます！！心よりお喜び申し上げます！

Culture Day Skate Session!!

昨日文化の日はいや～寒かったものの見事な快晴！ひさびさにガッツリとスケート出来ました～
今回のスポットは江東区ならどこにでもある倉庫街の中。が、事前に写メで送ってもらった
スポットはイメージの2倍。。。　でもまぁ何が出来るか？？って試行錯誤するのが楽しい訳で。
さらに下町エリアはキックアウト率が低いのでスケートに集中できますよ。う～ん充実！！

Yesterday was Culture Day which was cold but sunny. I had a good skating whole day.
The spot this time is inside warehouse in Koto-ku but it was as double as I imagined...
It's always fun to skate trail and error, then you can finally make it and feel good.
You can also concentrate on what you're doing here in Sitamati, less kicked out!!

でもって今回のメンツは、最近良く動くタネちゃん！！隠れたスポットシーカーです！！
Skating this time with Tane who often shows me around, an obscure spot seeker!!

そしてお馴染みのモットン！！現在、まだまだ調整中とはいえかなり良い動きしてますよ～
And with this well-known guy Motton. Still not 100% but skates clean and powerful!!

最後はSSPで締めスケート！！結構集まってたね～。タネちゃんbshナイスメイク！！
At last we skated at SSP with locals!! Tane's bsh was nice to witness!!

急に寒くなってきました～体調管理には気を付けましょう！！
ところでクマ今日何か撮れた？？

カタログバイヤーズガイド「Beach Brother」　フランスはボルドー在住の友人アントワンから
連絡をもらったので紹介しましょう！全148ページのかなりハイクオリティーな内容です。

「Beach Brother」a catalog buyers guide from France with some information of US and Europe which publishes a couple of times a year. My friend from Bordeaux told me this and wanted to share with you. Nice magazine with 148 pages of good quality contents.

Freestyle The World Championships 2009 in Japan!!

10/24（土）、25（日）とフリースタイルスケートボードの世界選手権が約20年振りに日本で
行われたので応援に行ってきました！今までフリースタイルと聞いてもピンとこなかったものの。
エントリーも日本、カナダ、ドイツ、スウェーデン、アメリカ、ブラジルからかなりの人数が。
ジャッジのメンツも見ての通り、日本のスケートシーンを支え続けてきた功労者たちが集結！！

I went to this free style contest to help yesterday which is The World Championships in Japan for the first time in 20 years. I don't clearly even know what the freestyle is but... A large entry from Japan, Canada, Germany, Sweden, America and Brazil and besides,
as you can see, all the judges are Japanese legends here who have been contributing to Japanese skateboard scene for a long time!!

会場はららぽーと船橋内の特設スペース！ムラサキの内山クンはじめスタッフのみなさんの努力があってこそ。こんな場所でスケートイベントが行えるのは本当に素晴らしいことです。

It was held at a floor specially prepared for this contest inside LaLaport Funabashi!! Great to have it here like this, through the effort of Mr.Uchiyama and other staffs
at Murasaki sport.

元パウエルのプロライダーであり、現Momentum Wheelのオーナーであるケビン・ハリス！！
往年のワンウィールノーズウィリー。生ハリス見れて嬉しかったですね～ド渋！！

Ex-professional rider for POW and a current owner of Momentum Wheel, Kevin Harris's one wheel nose wheelie. I was very happy to see him skate in Japan!!

ドイツのレジェンドと言われる現世界チャンピオンのグェンター・モクリーズも参戦！
かなり安定した滑りで会場を沸かしてました。熟練のスペースウォーク！！

A world champion and the German freestyle legend Guenter Mokulys also joined
the contest. He showed his well-skilled steady skating to the audience. Space walk!!

JFSAの代表としても日々多忙な日本代表、モイチくんこと鈴木茂一プロのホーホープラント！
個人的には神戸の井植啓悟氏を思い出します。今回は大会の誘致から色々とお疲れ様でした！

A represent for JFSA Moichi aka Shigekazu Suzuki's ho ho plant!! It always reminds me of Keigo Iue from Kobe. Moichi also took the trouble to invite this contest to Japan!!

いや～かなり新鮮でしたフリースタイル！そして若い世代も育っているんですね。
今なおシーンが存在しそれを守り続ける人たちがいる。かなり熱いものを感じました。
まだ日曜の部が残っているので詳しくはJFSAのブログでチェックしてみて下さい。

Really fresh for me to see freestyle. I was also moved by the scene is still observed
and I saw the new generation growing. I mean skateboarding is skateboarding.

2010年、新たなドキュメンタリー作品がリリースされるようです。シベリアからモスクワ鉄道に乗り込み、香港までの道のりを列車で旅する約2ヶ月間のスケートムービー！その映像タイトルは
「10,000 Kilometers」！！行ってみたいなロシア、乗ってみたいぞシベリア鉄道。

A new documentary coming out in 2010 called「10,000 Kilometers」!!　This film is
about a two month skate journey on the Trans-Siberian railway as the crew traveled
from Moscow to Hong Kong. I wanna visit Russia and try to get on that train someday.

Where I Live

先週の土日は、昼はスケート！夜はサケート！いつもな感じ！？とまぁ充実してました！
スケートに良い季節ですね～。恒例のSSPでは、日沖のてっちゃんとあれやこれやじっくり滑り。
夜は恒例のライブ・ドゥ・ちゃたん！今回はSSPローカルで尼崎出身のまっさん夫妻も参戦。
お洒落できさくな先輩スケーターと笑いありダンスありの思い出深い夜となった訳です。うりぃ！

I had a good time last weekend, skating in the daytime and sakating at night as usual!?
Now it's good season for skating. I enjoy 4 hours of skating with Tecchan at SSP.
There was a live show at Chatan at night. SSP local Math who is originally from Amagasaki joined me with his wife. He is very frank and fashionable, we really enjoyed
the night together!!

そしてもうひとりの刺客、モットン！兄弟と間違われまくりのナイスなスケートボーダー！
An another killer Motton, a good skateboarder. Everyone here thought we were real brothers.

平良さん＆龍一、ネーネーと娘さん。新ちゃたん、毎日かなり賑わってるみたいですよー！！

翌日は快晴！モットンは初SSPということで張り切って行ってみると。。。
It was fine next day!! Motton went to SSP for the first time and then...

時間差で誰もいなかったので、二人で貸し切り。モットンのファーストトライf/s crooks！
Nobody was there, kind of reserved for us. Motton gave a first try f/s crooks!!

夕方からゆめっちが合流し、SSP to ちゃたん。ついにリンク！ありがとう～ゆめっち！
Yumecchi came to see us all the way, finally things happened. Thanks a lot Yume!!

スケートゲーム、ビデオプレミア、フォトギャラリー、ライブペイント、スケートセクションも
あり超てんこ盛りな内容となってますよ～。さぁ10/31（土）はみんなでKELへGO！！！

Here's an event information.「TIENOWAPRO」will be held at KEL October 31th, which is produced by Keita from TIELA and COYA from SCELTA!! Featuring a skate game,
video premiere, photo gallery, live painting and free skate session. Yeah it's a must!!

Sitamati BBQ!!

さて10/11（日）は秋晴れの中、玉木ファミリー＆下町フィルムプレゼンツのBBQが開催！
SSPのすぐ脇で普段よくスケートしてるメンツが大集合してのアウトドアパーティー！！
前日のちゃたんで飲み過ぎたので酒はほどほどに。荒川をバックに最高のロケーションで
飲み食い語らい、三線を弾いたりと最高のひとときでした。玉木家のみなさん、ありがとう！

There was BBQ party presented by Tamaki family and Sitamati Film on October 11th!!
It was outdoor party near SSP that most skaters I often skate with came together!!
Was still really hangover at Chatan yesterday so I just sat back and chilled in front of
the Arakawa river. It was also nice to eat, talk and play Sanshin outdoors.
Thanks Tamaki family a lot for a great time!!

牛、豚、鳥が次から次へと本格的にグリルされ～の♪♪　玉木パパご馳走さまです！
A delicious hot grill of beef, pork and chicken are preparing one after another♪♪

新鮮なサザエのつぼ焼きもご覧の通り。いや～マジで最高に美味いッス！！
Fresh tuban shell grilled in the shell also got me excited. Uh～so good!!

山梨からはコタッちゃんファミリーも参加！子供たちが可愛かったなぁ。
Kotatsu family from Yamanashi joined us later!! What a lovely kids.

休む間もなくどんどん「食の暴力」が出てきます（笑）この焼きそばも最高でした！！
They never stopped cooking "the food violence" this fried noodle was also good!!

最終的にほんとかなりの人数が集まってましたよ～。これぞ末広がりのUNITY POWER！
Almost everyone I know was here and enjoyed. This is UNITY POWER of Suehirogari!!

河川敷の一面に広がるススキもどこか風情があり。気付けばもう完全に秋ですね～
Japanese pampas grass along the river makes you realize it's already fall...

最後のおいしいトコ取りはやっぱりジャバ！（笑）風邪ひいてないか？
Java always finished with his full performance!! Didn't you get cold??

いや～楽しかった！またここでの思い出がひとつ増えました。下町最高～！！
Well I had a good time anyway and it was memorable. I love Sitamati!!

New Chatan Open!!

下町エリアを盛り上げてきた沖縄料理「ちゃたん」が装いを新たに移転オープン！！
ということで10/10（土）のオープン初日、お祝いを兼ねて駆けつけてきました。
外観は見ての通り沖縄さながら、店内も以前より広くてゆっくり気ままに飲めますよ～
さすがに初日だけあり、一見さんもかなりたくさん入っていて盛り上がってました！

Okinawa restaurant「Chatan」where they had been entertained us in Sitamati moved to a new place and redecorated!! October 10th, I went to celebrate the opening day.
It looks like Okinawa on the outside and got larger the inside than before, you will feel more relaxed. Really good time on the day 1 with regular and some of new customer!!

お～っ！！立派なステージの上では石嶺ファミリーがライブで盛り上げます！！
Wow!! Ishimine family performed the fine Okinawan music on the wonderful stage!!

このお二人には本当お世話になってます。カンちゃん＆ミーちゃん♪♪
They really take care of me, I owe you. Kan-chan & Mi-chan♪♪

一見さんも楽しそうに飲んでましたよ！場所柄、若いお客さんも増えそうですね～
